While there are cases of sick building syndrome or litigation that may necessitate pre-testing, AMG generally does not recommend it. There are no unified standards for 'safe levels’ of indoor molds. Both the testing and the interpretation of the results may not reliably indicate the health risks of exposure to the mold present. Therefore, test results may not be useful.
